Abstract
This research aims to develop a web and Android-based cashier system application for Nay Sahabat Alam Shop, a retail business that provides food supplies and daily necessities. The store offers a wide range of products, including groceries, household items, toiletries, cleaning tools, kitchenware, medications, and more. However, the store previously lacked a system to facilitate structured sales transactions, inventory management, and the recording of purchase and sales histories, resulting in inefficient business operations and vulnerability to human errors. The cashier application is designed to streamline sales transactions, manage stock inventory, and present transaction history in an organized manner. The system is built using a REST API architecture, with the backend developed using the Laravel framework and MySQL as the database. The Android mobile application was developed using Flutter, while the web interface was built with React.js. The development process follows the Agile Software Development Life Cycle. The resulting system successfully enhances operational efficiency, reduces transactional errors, and simplifies data management and inventory control.
