Abstract

This study addresses task management challenges at Maju Makmur Utomo, focusing on the need for more efficient employee performance monitoring and reporting. A dual-platform system was developed, consisting of a web application for managers and a mobile application for employees, utilizing modern technologies such as React.js, React Native, Express.js, and MongoDB to streamline the overall task management process. The Initial Software Development Method (ISDM) was employed as the development framework, offering a structured approach for a solo developer to manage the software development lifecycle. Data collection methods included interviews, observations, and literature reviews, providing comprehensive insights into user needs and preferences. The findings reveal that the implementation of this information technology-based solution significantly improves task tracking efficiency, employee engagement, and overall company productivity. Furthermore, the system delivers a more organized and effective task management structure. This research highlights the importance of leveraging modern technologies to address organizational task management challenges, particularly within business environments like Maju Makmur Utomo, to ensure smoother and more efficient operations.
