Abstract

The rapid advancement of information and communication technology has significantly influenced various sectors of life, including the food ordering process. Conventional systems, still widely used by many culinary businesses such as KAF Fried Chicken, often encounter inefficiencies in order recording, unstructured customer data management, and inaccurate transaction reporting. This study aims to design and develop a web-based mobile food ordering application that supports integrated management of orders, payments, and transaction data. The application was developed using the spiral model methodology, employing Express.js as the backend framework and MongoDB as the database system. Core features include menu management, online ordering, and transaction recording and reporting. Testing results indicate that the system effectively enhances both the speed and accuracy of transaction handling. Consequently, the application is expected to contribute substantially to improving operational efficiency within the culinary business sector, particularly in managing orders and transaction data.
