Abstract

Effective financial management is essential for students, especially in today’s digital era where consumptive behavior is increasingly prevalent. This study aims to develop an Android-based monthly financial management application specifically designed to meet the financial needs of students by applying the Personal Extreme Programming (PXP) methodology. The application integrates a range of features tailored to help students manage their finances efficiently, including intuitive chart-based visualizations for budget planning and fund allocation. The PXP method was employed to ensure a fast-paced and user-responsive development process, enabling dynamic adjustments based on continuous user feedback. Testing and evaluation results indicate that the application significantly supports students in managing their finances more effectively and efficiently, offering a practical and user-friendly solution for their daily financial needs. Keywords: Android Application, Financial Management, Students, Personal Extreme Programming (PXP), Chart Visualization
