Abstract
This study presents the development of a purchasing pattern analysis system for medical equipment using the Apriori algorithm at PT. Setia Anugrah Medika. By analyzing transaction data from January to May 2024, the system identified strong product associations, with the highest lift ratio reaching 5.13—indicating a significantly strong relationship between specific items. Customers who purchased Dirui BCC-3600 Diluent (20 L) and Cleanser (500 mL) were found to be 5.13 times more likely to also purchase Dirui BCC-3600 Lyse (500 mL). This association rule yielded a support value of 5.84% and a confidence level of 81.82%, reflecting a frequent and reliable co-purchasing trend. These findings offer valuable insights for implementing strategic product bundling and optimizing inventory management. Despite its effectiveness, the system is currently limited by its reliance on a single algorithm and a basic user interface. Future research is recommended to compare the Apriori method with alternative approaches such as FP-Growth and to enhance the system with demand prediction features and interactive visualizations for more advanced analytical capabilities. Keywords: Apriori Algorithm, Purchasing Pattern, Medical Equipment, Association Rules, Inventory Management.
