Abstract
Bullying remains a pressing concern in senior high school environments, often exacerbated by students’ reluctance to report incidents directly to school counsellors. Addressing this issue, the present study aims to develop an Android-based counselling application that provides a safe and accessible platform for students to communicate their problems more comfortably. The application is built using Kotlin for the mobile frontend and Laravel for the backend, integrated with Firebase Realtime Database for real-time online data storage. Key features include chat-based online counselling services, scheduling of offline counselling sessions, online psychological assessments, and consultation history tracking. A black box testing approach was employed to validate system functionality against user requirements. Testing results indicate that the application functions effectively for both students and counselling staff, offering a flexible and efficient digital counselling solution. Moreover, the application serves as a supportive tool in bullying prevention efforts by enhancing access to mental health support in educational settings.
