Abstract

Finding professional and reliable construction handyman services remains a challenge for many people, particularly regarding efficiency, transparency, and ease of access to information. This study aims to develop an Android-based application to streamline the process of searching, booking, and communicating between users and service providers. The research employed methods including observation, interviews, questionnaires, and document analysis. The application features service provider search based on expertise categories such as electrical, construction, and roofing, along with user reviews, ratings, and direct consultation via WhatsApp links. The system is built with a REST API architecture connecting the Android client with a web-based admin panel for managing handyman data, service orders, and job categories. The implementation results indicate that the application effectively simplifies the booking process, improves service discovery accuracy, and enhances user satisfaction through a transparent and informative system. This application is expected to serve as a practical and relevant digital solution to meet the growing public demand for construction-related services.
