Abstract

This study develops and implements an Android-based goat farm management application at Golden Star Farm, Cilacap, aiming to address issues related to unorganized sales data recording, limited dissemination of goat care procedures to employees, and the absence of structured livestock documentation. The application is developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, allowing for fast iteration and user-driven adjustments, resulting in an effective and responsive system. The application enhances the accuracy of sales data recording, provides access to goat care information, ensures structured livestock tracking in the pens, and incorporates authentication mechanisms to ensure data security. Testing was conducted using the Black Box Testing method, confirming that all features functioned as specified without any functional failures. The implementation of this application contributes to improving employee understanding of care procedures, supports livestock health, and increases the efficiency and sustainability of farm operations. Therefore, the application not only improves internal management quality but also serves as a strategic step toward applying information technology in the advancement of modern livestock farming.
