Abstract

E-sport has emerged as a new category of sport driven by electronic technologies, experiencing rapid global growth marked by the increasing number of players, spectators, and tournaments. To support interaction within the e-sport ecosystem, players and enthusiasts require a centralized platform for communication, discussion, and access to e-sport-related information. The implementation of an online forum offers a viable solution to meet this need. This study focuses on the development of a mobile application that serves as an interactive forum, enabling users to build and engage within the e-sport community. The software development process follows the Rational Unified Process (RUP) methodology. The resulting product is a mobile-based application named Doka, developed using the Java programming language and Firebase as the database. Functional testing was conducted on Android version 8.0 (API 27) to ensure compatibility and optimal performance. Keywords: Forum, E-sport, Social Media, Rational Unified Process (RUP), Mobile.
