Abstract

UD. Dua Enam is a microenterprise operating in the wood processing industry located in Poso, Central Sulawesi. The company currently relies on conventional record-keeping methods for managing incoming materials, monitoring stock levels, calculating material volumes, and generating reports, utilizing basic tools such as logbooks, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word. These manual processes hinder operational efficiency and increase the risk of data inaccuracies and loss, especially given the frequent daily material inputs. To address these challenges, this study aims to develop a computerized Wood Management Information System (WMIS) to enhance data precision and streamline managerial workflows. The system is designed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method to ensure quick and iterative development tailored to the company's specific needs. The resulting system enables real-time inventory monitoring, automated volume calculations, accurate data entry for incoming materials, and structured report generation. The implementation of this WMIS is expected to significantly improve productivity and decision-making at UD. Dua Enam, providing a reliable and scalable solution for managing its core operational processes more effectively. Keywords: Information System, Management, Wood Industry
