Abstract

The advancement of information technology has significantly facilitated various aspects of daily operations, including inventory management in school cooperatives. At Vocational School of Yudya Karya Magelang, inventory control is still handled manually, leading to inefficiencies and a high risk of data entry errors. This study aims to design and implement an Android-based inventory system equipped with barcode scanning functionality, integrated with a web-based Content Management System (CMS). The development process follows a systematic approach involving literature review, requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The Android application enables cooperative staff to automate inventory data entry through barcode scanning, while the web-based CMS allows administrators to manage product data, monitor stock levels, and generate inventory reports in real time. The results indicate that the system enhances both efficiency and accuracy in inventory operations. The barcode scanning feature significantly accelerates the recording process and minimizes input errors, and the CMS provides a structured platform for real-time stock control and reporting. Overall, the system offers a practical and scalable solution to improve inventory management and service quality in school cooperatives, particularly at Vocational School Yudya Karya Magelang.
