Abstract

This study aims to implement the AES-128 encryption method within a web-based reservation system at Atomy Hotel to enhance the security of customer data. The system, developed using Laravel and PHP, encrypts sensitive customer information—including full name, address, national ID number, phone number, and email—prior to storage in the database, ensuring that only authorized parties can access the data. Black-box testing confirms that the system meets functional requirements, with encryption and decryption processes operating efficiently without compromising system performance. The findings demonstrate that AES-128 encryption effectively strengthens customer data protection while fostering user trust in the system. The study also recommends the integration of automated email notifications and large-scale testing to further improve system efficiency and security.
