Abstract
This study focuses on the development of an online attendance system for employees at the Department of Housing, Settlement Areas, and Environmental Affairs of Trenggalek Regency, integrating attendance logging with photo and location validation, and facilitating online leave requests. Online attendance and leave submission systems offer significant benefits to both employees and organizations by streamlining administrative processes. Based on the issues identified, this research aims to develop a dynamic and structured web-based mobile application using location coordinates and photo validation for employee attendance and leave requests. The system is built using PHP and MySQL to ensure efficient performance and scalability. In today’s digital era, such systems are essential as they align with modern technological advancements and usability standards. The application was developed using HTML, CSS, and PHP for the interface and backend, with MySQL employed to manage the database connectivity essential for the attendance system’s functionality.
