Abstract
Kartini is a film that portrays the struggle for women's emancipation in Indonesia and has received significant public attention on X Platform, generating a wide range of public opinions. Due to the large volume and diversity of these opinions, identifying the dominant sentiment manually is challenging. Without an appropriate method, sentiment analysis becomes inefficient and time-consuming. To address this issue, this study applies the Naïve Bayes algorithm for sentiment analysis of public opinions regarding the Kartini film on X Platform. Data were collected using web scraping techniques and underwent several preprocessing stages, including data cleaning, tokenization, stop-word removal, and stemming, to enhance model accuracy. The Naïve Bayes classifier was utilized to categorize opinions into positive and negative sentiments. The results demonstrate that public sentiment towards the Kartini film can be effectively analyzed using the Naïve Bayes model, providing a systematic and accurate understanding of public perception of a film.
