Abstract

Amigos Animal Care located in Boyolali is currently facing challenges related to the increasing number of abandoned pets and the inefficiencies in its manual adoption system, such as the use of Excel files for adopter records—which are prone to data loss—and the dissemination of adoption information via social media, which lacks permanence and accessibility. To address these issues, the MyAdopt application was developed as a digital solution to streamline the pet adoption process and support individuals interested in adopting companion animals. This application also features a donation system that allows users to contribute to the care of unadopted animals, along with automated adoption agreement printing and adoption reporting functions. MyAdopt is built using Flutter for mobile development and Bootstrap for the administrative web interface, integrated with RESTful APIs and Midtrans for secure payment processing. Core functionalities include user registration, adoption application, adoption history tracking, donation management, and administrative data control. The application aims to enhance the operational effectiveness of Amigos Animal Care by providing a robust digital platform for managing adoptions and donations, while also enabling the public to actively engage in animal welfare efforts—either through adopting or financially supporting the animals—ensuring they receive proper care while awaiting responsible new homes.
