This research discusses language variation, namely slang word. A slang word is informal language, such as puns made by certain people or groups with specific purposes. The forms of slang words are more likely to change and continue to grow along with the times and follow trends. However, based on the purpose of making slang words, which is just for entertainment and play, these slang words still exist today and are even more popular. The researcher analyzed the slang words used by Anies Baswedan's buzzers in the 2024 presidential election in the comment section of TikTok videos. The data obtained in this study were identified using qualitative descriptive methods. There are two findings from this analysis, which are classifying each slang word found in the comments section into five types of slang words according to the theory of Allan and Burridge (2006) and explaining the meaning of the slang words. In the second finding, the researcher analyzed the types of slang words that were dominantly used by the buzzers. After the analysis, the researcher found the following results; the researcher found 5 types of slang words used by the buzzers, namely fresh and creative, flippant, imitative, acronym and clipping. Then based on the research, the dominant type of slang word used was fresh and creative, flippant and acronym.
