Abstract

Moliya Tour Yogyakarta, a company specializing in the rental of cars, motorcycles, and tour packages, currently relies on manual record-keeping, primarily utilizing physical books for inventory management. This approach presents several challenges, including delays in data updates, the risk of record loss or damage, and inefficiencies in asset oversight. To address these issues, this research aims to develop a web-based inventory information system that will facilitate the digital management of vehicle, driver, tour package, and renter data, as well as maintenance and transaction processes. The system has been developed using the Laravel framework for the backend, Vue.js for the frontend, and MySQL as the database management system. The system development process encompassed problem identification, data collection, system analysis, system design utilizing Entity-Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) and Data Flow Diagrams (DFDs), interface implementation, and black-box testing. The testing results indicated that the system operated effectively and fulfilled its intended purpose. The system enhanced recording efficiency, expedited operational processes, and offered business owners more accurate access to information for monitoring fleet conditions, driver activities, and rental transactions. Consequently, this system is deemed effective in facilitating the digitalization of inventory management at Moliya Tour Yogyakarta.
