Abstract

The rise of sexual harassment cases experienced by several individuals that can have a significant impact are psychological and physical due to the lack of understanding of sexual education from an early age. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the forms of sexual harassment and the impact of sexual harassment that experience by Romy in the novel 'All the Rage' using Cooper's six-level theory of sexual harassment. This research has two objectives: 1) analyzing the forms of harassment experienced by Romy in the novel, and 2) the impact of Romy's sexual harassment experience in the novel. This research is a descriptive qualitative research because the researcher analyzes the object of research from the novel qualitatively and the research uses an objective approach to literature as the basis of theory and analysis. The step that the researcher takes in collecting data is that the researcher reads the entire novel carefully and sorts out the data that are suitable for this research to fit the research topic to be analyzed and makes conclusions. The results of this research are as follows: 1) Romy experienced all forms of harassment in six levels, and 2) researchers found negative impacts from Romy's sexual harassment experience.
