Abstract

ABSTRAK Desa wisata merupakan bentuk integrasi antara daya tarik wisata, fasilitas pendukung, serta kemudahan akses yang disajikan dalam suatu struktur kehidupan masyarakat yang menyatu dengan tata cara dan tradisi yang berlaku, dan dikelola secara partisipatif oleh masyarakat setempat. Salah satu contoh desa wisata yang berkembang pesat adalah Desa Wisata Kasongan, yang terletak di Kapanewon Kasihan, Kabupaten Bantul, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Desa ini dikenal sebagai sentra kerajinan gerabah, dan telah menembus pasar ekspor serta meraih penghargaan sebagai desa wisata terbaik tingkat provinsi pada tahun 2018. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor�faktor yang memengaruhi keberhasilan pengembangan Desa Wisata Kasongan. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) berdasarkan kerangka 4A, yaitu Attraction, Amenities, Accessibility, dan Ancillary. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner kepada para pemangku kepentingan desa wisata serta observasi langsung di lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor Attraction, khususnya kerajinan gerabah dan aktivitas wisata interaktif, memiliki bobot tertinggi dalam mendukung keberhasilan pengembangan desa wisata. Faktor Accessibility dan Ancillary juga memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap keberlanjutan pengelolaan. Sementara itu, Amenities meskipun tetap penting, tidak menjadi faktor prioritas utama. Berdasarkan temuan ini, direkomendasikan penguatan pada aspek daya tarik wisata, peningkatan aksesibilitas, serta optimalisasi kelembagaan untuk mendukung pengelolaan desa wisata yang berkelanjutan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan dalam pengembangan desa wisata berbasis kerajinan di wilayah lain di Indonesia. ABSTRACT A tourism village is an integrated form of tourist attractions, supporting facilities, and accessibility, presented within a community's way of life that aligns with prevailing customs and traditions, and is managed participatively by the local population. One rapidly developing example is Kasongan Tourism Village, located in Kapanewon Kasihan, Bantul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. This village is renowned as a center for pottery crafts, has penetrated the export market, and was awarded as the best tourism village at the provincial level in 2018. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the successful development of Kasongan Tourism Village. The method employed is descriptive quantitative, utilizing the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) technique based on the 4A framework, namely Attraction, Amenities, Accessibility, and Ancillary. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to key stakeholders in the tourism village and direct field observations. The results show that the Attraction factor, particularly pottery crafts and interactive tourism activities, holds the highest weight in contributing to the village's development success. Accessibility and Ancillary factors also make significant contributions to sustainable management. Meanwhile, although Amenities remain important, they are not considered the top priority. Based on these findings, it is recommended to strengthen the attraction aspect, improve accessibility, and optimize institutional management to support sustainable tourism village development. The results of this study are expected to serve as a reference for the development of craft-based tourism villages in other regions of Indonesia.
