Abstract

The management of student grades at SD Negeri Pakem Purworejo was previously done manually using Microsoft Excel, which led to various issues such as data inaccuracies, delays in delivering information, and a lack of transparency in presenting grades to students and parents. The existing system was unable to provide real-time grade data and was prone to input errors. This study aims to design and implement a web-based student grade monitoring system to address these issues. The system is designed to be more efficient, accurate, and to provide transparent access to grades for all stakeholders involved. The research process included identifying requirements through interviews, observations, and literature review, followed by system development using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology, which involves planning, analysis, design, implementation, testing, and evaluation stages. The implementation results demonstrate that the system has been successfully developed with key features such as student, teacher, and grade data management, as well as the presentation of real-time and structured grade reports. Based on testing using the Black Box method, which performed well, and the User Acceptance Test (UAT), the system achieved a user satisfaction rate of 86.1%, categorized as "Strongly Agree." Thus, this system is deemed suitable to support the academic grading process at SD Negeri Pakem.
