Abstract
This study aims to determine and evaluate the sales system and procedures implemented at PT A. Takrib. The sales system plays a crucial role in facilitating smooth transactions and ensuring operational efficiency and accuracy. This study employs a qualitative approach, utilizing primary and secondary data sources. The primary data sources include interview results with relevant parties and supporting documents, such as sales transaction notes, sales invoices, and internal company archives. PT A. Takrib uses the Odoo application as an integrated information system. The results of the study indicate that the company employs two types of sales mechanisms: cash sales and credit sales. Cash sales begin with promotions by the marketing department, transactions handled by the cashier, preparation of goods by the warehouse, and conclude with reporting to the accounting department. In credit sales, transactions are recorded as receivables and followed up by the collection and receivables monitoring department. The entire process has been well-coordinated among departments. However, there are several weaknesses, including weak internal supervision in the goods inspection process, less secure shipping facilities, and the absence of a payment reminder system and strict sanctions for late payments. This problem has an impact on the company's potential losses, both in terms of goods security and cash flow. It is hoped that these findings can serve as the basis for improving sales systems and procedures to make them more efficient, safe, and well-controlled.
