Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the management control system on financial performance at the Yogyakarta Special Region Health Office. The method employed is qualitative, utilising observation, documentation, and a literature study. The results of the study indicate that the management control system, including planning, implementation, evaluation, and reporting, has been running effectively and has contributed to increased accountability and financial efficiency. The evaluation was conducted based on five components of internal control, as outlined in the COSO framework. With reasonable control, the Yogyakarta Special Region Health Office can achieve optimal financial performance.
