Abstract

Libraries play a crucial role in supporting teaching and learning activities. However, the widely used manual recording system often results in errors and inaccuracies. This research presents the development of a mobile-based library application designed to digitize book data recording, borrowing, and the management of lost books. The application caters to three user types: Admin, Librarian, and Library Member. The admin oversees data management and ensures system stability. The Librarian is responsible for inputting data on physical books and e-books, monitoring loan statuses, and confirming fines for lost books. Members can borrow books directly through the application, check the availability of the collection, and download e-books. The implementation of this application is expected to enhance the effectiveness of library management, expedite the borrowing and return processes, and reduce recording errors.
