Abstract
Contributions in the form of thoughts, suggestions, ideas, or complaints represent public feedback to the government. Through the complaint application, the public can actively participate in village development by expressing their aspirations and providing input. This study aims to enhance public trust in the complaint service application by demonstrating a high level of service quality and responsiveness to submitted complaints. The collected data are processed and visualized as an interactive map to assist authorities in effectively following up on complaints. Software development was conducted using the Extreme Programming (XP) methodology to ensure the production of high-quality software. Integration of Location-Based Services (LBS) was implemented to support more efficient complaint handling, particularly in addressing illegal waste disposal. Test results indicate that this application can be accessed online via communication devices such as mobile phones, offering convenience to the public without requiring in-person visits to authorities. The application has been shown to accelerate response times to complaints and improve public satisfaction with existing complaint services.
