Abstract

The decline in interest in learning Javanese among elementary and secondary school students is a significant concern for both the government and educators, given the role of regional languages as an integral part of Indonesia's cultural identity. The traditional approach to teaching the Javanese language has highlighted the need to digitize instructional materials to enhance their relevance in the context of advances in information technology. This digital transformation is being realized through the development of a Javanese language learning application that offers flexible learning opportunities and a more interactive experience via in-app features, thereby fostering innovative learning for students. This final project aims to present a mobile-based learning platform that facilitates students' contextual access to Javanese language materials.
