Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology has brought convenience to various aspects of life, including the search for boarding house information, which was traditionally conducted manually through brochures, pamphlets, or banners. This conventional method is considered inefficient due to its limited reach and time-consuming nature, especially for prospective residents from outside the region. Therefore, this research aims to design and develop a mobile-based e-boarding house application featuring modern functionalities such as filtered search, online booking, and digital payments, utilizing the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology. This application not only simplifies the process for users to find boarding houses according to their preferences but also enables boarding house owners to manage room availability, occupant information, and payment history in a more organized manner. Test results demonstrate that the e-boarding house application operates optimally without technical issues and effectively meets the needs of users. This digital solution facilitates a faster, more practical, and modern approach to searching for and managing boarding houses, providing significant benefits to both prospective residents and boarding house owners. Keywords: E-boarding house, Mobile Application, Boarding House Search, Online Booking, Digital Payment.
