Abstract

Abstrak CV. Cahaya Setia Mulia Abadi merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang manufaktur produsen Sarung Tangan Golf. Dalam proses produksi Sarung Tangan Golf terdapat berbagai tahapan produksi dimana proses produksinya memiliki berbagai resiko yang dapat menyebabkan terjadinya kecacatan produk khususnya dalam proses penjahitan sarung tangan golf. Oleh karena itu dilakukan penelitian mengenai pengendalian kualitas produk sarung tangan golf dengan metode Six Sigma untuk mengurangi cacat di CV. Cahaya Setia Mulia Abadi untuk mengevaluasi dan mengetahui penyebab terjadinya cacat produk sarung tangan golf yang terdapat pada lantai produksi sehingga dapat diberikan rekomendasi perbaikan untuk mengurangi resiko terjadinya kecacatan produk. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan data jumlah dan jenis cacat produk sarung tangan golf selama periode penelitian yaitu 1 bulan. Berdasarkan pengumpulan data yang telah dilakukan diketahui bahwa kecacatan produk terdapat 10 jenis kecacatan dengan jumlah keseluruhan 714 unit yang disebabkan oleh 5 faktor yaitu manusia, mesin, bahan baku, metode dan lingkungan. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan dan analisis penyebab kecacatan diberikan usulan perbaikan yang bertujuan untuk mengurangi resiko terjadinya cacat produk dan meningkatkan kualitas sarung tangan golf yaitu dengan dilakukan pelatihan berkala, rotasi kerja, serta monitoring kinerja dan disiplin. Untuk bahan baku dilakukan uji coba jahitan awal berdasarkan jenis bahan baku dan pelabelan bahan. Sedangkan pada Lingkungan, dilakukan pemeriksaan pencahayaan, penerapan 5R, dan desain kerja ergonomis. Dengan menerapkan hasil usulan perbaikan ini diharapkan dapat mengurangi resiko terjadinya kecacatan produk dan meningkatkan kualitas produk sarung tangan golf pada CV. Cahaya Setia Mulia Abadi. Kata kunci: Six Sigma, 5R Abstract CV Cahaya Setia Mulia Abadi is a company engaged in the manufacturing of Golf Gloves. In the Golf Glove production process there are various production stages where the production process has various risks that can cause product defects, especially in the sewing process of golf gloves. Therefore, a study was conducted on the quality control of golf glove products using the Six Sigma method to reduce defects at CV Cahaya Setia Mulia Abadi to evaluate and determine the causes of defects in golf glove products found on the production floor so that recommendations for improvements can be provided to reduce the risk of product defects. The data used in this study are data on the number and type of defects in golf glove products during the research period, which is 1 month. Based on the data collection that has been done, it is known that there are 10 types of defects with a total of 714 units of product defects caused by 5 factors, namely humans, machines, raw materials, methods and the environment. Based on the results of processing and analysis of the causes of defects, improvements are proposed that aim to reduce the risk of product defects and improve the quality of golf gloves, namely by conducting regular training, job rotation, and monitoring performance and discipline. For raw materials, initial sewing trials are carried out based on the type of raw material and material labeling. Meanwhile, in the environmental field, inspections were conducted on lighting, the implementation of 5R, and ergonomic work design. Implementing these proposed improvements is expected to reduce the risk of product defects and improve the quality of golf gloves at CV Cahaya Setia Mulia Abadi. Keywords: Six Sigma, 5R
