Abstract

The development of information technology has brought significant changes to the field of health services, particularly in laboratory data management. Health laboratory information systems play a crucial role in enhancing the accuracy, efficiency, and speed of services. However, poor-quality systems can lead to various issues, such as data recording errors, service delays, and reduced user trust. Therefore, a thorough evaluation is necessary to ensure the quality of the laboratory information system in use. This study aims to analyze the quality of the health laboratory information system at the Prambanan Community Health Center through validity and reliability testing. Validity tests are conducted to confirm that the research instruments and systems accurately measure the intended aspects. Meanwhile, reliability tests assess the consistency of results obtained from the same instrument under different conditions. This study utilizes a quantitative approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires distributed to system users. The results indicate that the laboratory information system at the Prambanan Community Health Center demonstrates high validity, as evidenced by a significant correlation (p < 0.05). This finding suggests that the instruments used are appropriate and accurate in measuring system quality. Additionally, the Cronbach’s Alpha value for the reliability test exceeded 0.5, indicating acceptable internal consistency. Descriptive and bivariate analyses revealed a strong positive relationship between system usage intensity and user satisfaction (r = 1). This finding implies that increased system usage is associated with higher user satisfaction. Keywords: Analysis, System Quality, Validity Test, Reliability Test, SIL Prambanan Health Center
