Abstract

DEVELOPING AN EXCLUSIVE WEB-BASED BOARDING RESERVATION INFORMATION SYSTEM (Case Study: Omah Tentrem by Paramon) Riko Aldi Saputra, Adam Sekti Aji Program Studi Sistem Informasi, Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi Universitas Teknologi Yogyakarta Jl. Ringroad Utara, Jombor, Sleman, Yogyakarta Email: [email protected], [email protected] ABSTRACT Omah Tentrem BY Paramon is one of the accommodations located in Sleman. Omah Tentrem BY Paramon was founded in 2017; at that time, it already had 3 types of rooms: superior rooms, Deluxe rooms, and studio rooms. From the results of interviews and observations at Omah Tentrem by Paramon, there are problems when customers who want to make a reservation must either come directly to the Omah Tentrem boarding house or contact the manager via WhatsApp. This setting greatly reduces reservation efficiency because it takes time and does not provide customers with certainty about room availability. Therefore, a room booking application was implemented, accompanied by payment via a web-based reservation system built with the Laravel framework, to enable a faster, more efficient booking process. Admins and customers can use this website to smooth the process of managing booking and room data. The admin section can display and edit data such as room and boarding facility details, room prices, and reservation data. On the customer side, they can use the website to check room availability and prices, make room reservations, view payment information, and track the ongoing booking process. The results provided by this website help the ordering and payment process by giving customers the information they need and enabling them to complete transactions more quickly and efficiently. On the other hand, it also helps admins check orders and payments more easily. From the presentation of the Omah Tentrem BY Paramon Sleman Final Project report, it can be concluded that the development of this exclusive web-based boarding house reservation information system provides admins and users with separate access to the Omah Tentrem By Paramon reservation system.
