Abstract

ABSTRACT Effective archives management is a critical requirement for agencies, institutions, organizations, and individuals. Given the continuously growing volume of archives created and received, it is essential to implement efficient management systems that leverage Information and Communication Technology (ICT) through dedicated applications. Electronic archives management applications streamline the entire process, from data entry to storage. This digitization facilitates easier searching and retrieval of archives. The application is developed using PHP as the programming language and MySQL as the database. The outcome of this research is a web-based electronic archives management system (E-ARSIP) designed for administrators and managers. This application aims to address current challenges in archives management and, with further development, has the potential to eliminate them.
