Abstract

ABSTRACT An information system is a set of organizational procedures that, when implemented, provides information for decision-making or control. Advances in technology within the rapidly evolving field of information systems are expected to facilitate the implementation of Posyandu activities, which currently rely on web-based platforms but lack mobile accessibility. By developing a Posyandu Information System (SINDU) that includes processes for recording and storing report archives, the burden on Posyandu cadres for documenting participant reports can be reduced, and archive storage can be made more secure. The research methodology employed for data collection includes observation, interviews, and literature review. Software development follows the Scrum framework, encompassing sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives. The resulting Android-based Posyandu information system, developed with Kotlin and the Firebase database, provides convenience for recording Posyandu participants. The system design and analysis culminate in an Android application that cadres can use to streamline the recording process during Posyandu activities. This Posyandu information system is expected to assist in compiling and summarizing Posyandu reports while minimizing errors associated with scattered or lost paper files.
