Abstract

ABSTRACT This research presents the design and implementation of an Android-based employee attendance system utilizing QR Code technology at PT Harta Samudera Ambon. The system was developed to overcome the limitations of manual attendance methods, such as data inaccuracies and the potential for attendance manipulation. It features two access levels: admin and employee. Employees record their attendance by scanning QR Codes, while administrators manage attendance data and generate reports. The development process involved requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and Black-Box Testing. Test results demonstrate that the system performs effectively, enhancing both the efficiency and accuracy of employee attendance tracking. Keywords: Attendance System, Android, QR Code, Employees,
