Abstract

ABSTRACT CV Ananda is a company specializing in wood processing. Currently, the processes of selecting, receiving, selling wood, recording stock, managing transactions, and handling income and expense data are performed manually. This issue often results in delays, data loss risks, and difficulties retrieving information. Manual calculations of wood volume in cubic meters often yield inaccurate estimates, and there is no system in place to compare fixed sales data. These issues contribute to inaccurate pricing, inefficient production planning, and recurring operational errors. This research aims to design and develop a web- and mobile-based wood management system to enhance CV Ananda’s operational efficiency. The system enables recording wood stock by type, length, diameter, and price; allows employees and administrators to manage data according to their roles; and simplifies information retrieval. Additionally, the system includes an automated feature for calculating wood volume in cubic meters, resulting in more accurate measurements and automatic grouping of each shipment. The development methodology employed is Agile, enabling the system to be developed incrementally and tailored to user needs. Test results demonstrate that the system accelerates transaction recording, reduces errors, improves the accuracy of wood volume calculations, and facilitates stock monitoring and data-driven decision-making, thereby supporting daily operational productivity.
