Abstract

ABSTRACT Advances in information technology are driving the digitalization of the camera rental industry, fueled by increasing demand from photographers, content creators, and the general public. The wide variety of cameras with diverse specifications often makes it challenging for users to select the model that best suits their requirements. To address this, the study developed a web- and mobile-based camera rental recommendation application utilizing the Content-Based Filtering (CBF) method. This approach matches user preferences with camera attributes such as type, resolution, rental price, and stabilizer features. The application was developed using Flutter for the frontend and Firebase for the backend. Testing demonstrated the system’s ability to provide relevant recommendations and streamline the search process, thereby enhancing the efficiency and quality of camera rental services.
