Abstract

Menganalisis pola distribusi curah hujan kita harus memiliki data curah hujan menit atau data curah hujan jam, namun ketersediaan data curah hujan jam-jaman di Indonesia kurang memadai karena masih banyak stasiun curah hujan di Indonesia yang masih menggunakan alat ukur curah hujan harian manual Pola distribusi curah hujan di Kabupaten Bantul mungkin tidak diketahui. Distribusi curah hujan tentunya dapat diprediksi dengan distribusi curah hujan jam-jaman. Pola distribusi curah hujan jam-jaman dapat dihitung dengan metode empiris atau metode observasi. Dalam penelitian ini metode empiris yang digunakan adalah Alternating Block Method (ABM) dan Modified Mononobe. Metode pengamatan menggunakan data curah hujan jam-jaman. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pola distribusi curah hujan jam-jaman yang terjadi di DAS Celeng Kabupaten Bantul, dengan metode observasi dan membandingkan pola distribusi curah hujan dengan metode empiris Alternating Block Method (ABM) dan Modified Mononobe.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pola distribusi hujan dengan durasi hujan 3 jam, 4 jam, 5 jam, 6 jam, 7 jam, 8 jam, 9 jam dan 10 jam dengan metode Modified Mononobe memiliki kesesuaian yang lebih baik karena memiliki nilai deviasi yang lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan metode Alternating Block Method (ABM). Kata kunci: Distribusi curah hujan, pola distribusi curah hujan, Alternating Block Methods, Modified Mononobe To analyze rainfall distribution patterns, we must have minute rainfall data or hourly rainfall data, but the availability of hourly rainfall data in Indonesia is inadequate because there are still many rainfall stations in Indonesia that still use manual daily rainfall gauges. The rainfall distribution pattern in Bantul Regency may not be known. The distribution of rainfall can certainly be predicted with hourly rainfall distribution. Hourly rainfall distribution patterns can be calculated by empirical methods or observational methods. In this study the empirical method used is the Alternating Block Method (ABM) and Modified Mononobe. The observation method uses hourly rainfall data. The purpose of this study was to determine the pattern of hourly rainfall distribution that occurred in the Celeng Watershed, Bantul Regency, using the observation method and to compare the pattern of rainfall distribution with the empirical Alternating Block Method (ABM) and Modified Mononobe. The results of this study indicate that the pattern Rain distribution with rain duration of 3 hours, 4 hours, 5 hours, 6 hours, 7 hours, 8 hours, 9 hours and 10 hours with the Modified Mononobe method has a better suitability because it has a smaller deviation value than the Alternating Block Method.
