Abstract

Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara yang sedang berkembang saat ini, banyak aspek dari negara ini yang sedang berkembang baik teknologi, politik, sosial terkhususnya di bidang infrastruktur Beton merupakan campuran semen, agregat kasar, agregat halus, dan air dengan atau tanpa bahan campuran tambahan lainnya dengan nilai perbandingan tertentu. Metakaolin (Clay) pada campuran beton.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan Metakaolin (Clay) sebagai bahan pengganti sebagian semen dengan persentase 20%, 25%, 30% dan 50% dan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kuat tekan beton normal dengan beton tambahan Metakaolin (Clay). Penelitian ini ini menggunakan metode eksperimental di laboratorium PT. Aneka Dharma Persada. Dengan mengadakan kegiatan percobaan pembuatan beton segar dengan tambahan Metakaolin (Clay) sebagai pengganti sebahian semen. Kemudian pengujian kuat tekan dilakukan di laboratorium PT. Aneka Dharma Persada. Benda uji yang digunakan sebanyak 21 benda uji silinder dengan dimensi 15 x 30 cm dengan kuat tekan rencana f’c 25 MPa yang diuji kuat tekannya pada umur 28 hari. Metode mix design yang digunakan adalah metode SNI (Standar Nasional Indonesia) yang mengacu pada SNI 03-2834-2000. Berdasarkan dari hasil pengolahan data dan analisis data untuk Beton normal diperoleh kuat tekan rata-rata adalah 25,62 MPa. Sendangkan hasil pengujian kuat tekan beton dengan bahan tambah Metakaolin (Clay) sebagai bahan pengaganti sebagian semen dengan persentase sebesar 20%, 25%, 30%, dan 50%, yang diuji pada umur 28 hari berturut-turut adalah 20%, Metakaolin 16,472 MPa, 25%, Metakaolin 12,674 MPa, 30%, Metakaolin 10,644 MPa, dan 50%, Metakaolin 2,706 MPa. Terjadi penurunan kuat tekan sebesar 20%, sebesar 9,148%, 25%, sebesar 12,973%, 30%, sebesar 14,976%, dan 50%, sebesar 22,914%. Kata kunci : Beton, Metakaolin (Clay), kuat tekan. By holding experimental activities for making fresh concrete with the addition of Metakaolin (Clay) as a substitute for cement. Then the compressive strength test was carried out in the laboratory of PT. Various Dharma Persada. The test specimens used were 21 cylindrical specimens with dimensions of 15 x 30 cm with a design compressive strength f'c of 25 MPa which were tested for compressive strength at 28 days of age. The mix design method used is the SNI (Indonesian National Standard) method which refers to SNI 03-2834-2000. Based on the results of data processing and data analysis for normal concrete, the average compressive strength is 25.62 MPa. While the results of the compressive strength test of concrete with the addition of Metakaolin (Clay) as a partial replacement for cement with percentages of 20%, 25%, 30%, and 50%, those tested at 28 days in a row were 20%, Metakaolin 16.472 MPa , 25%, Metakaolin 12.674 MPa, 30%, Metakaolin 10.644 MPa, and 50%, Metakaolin 2.706 MPa.
