Abstract

Kebutuhan material dalam pelaksanaan pembangunan dari waktu ke waktu semakin meningkat sehingga secara tidak langsung mengharuskan alat beroperasi secara terus menerus dan mengakibatkan kerusakan pada alat. Sejalan dengan perkembangan pembangunan negara kita, investasi menjadi salah satu ketertarikan bagi pengusaha. Permintaan kebutuhan alat berat untuk mendukung proses pembangunan yang semakin meningkat tiap tahunnya. Alat berat yang umum ada di pekerjaan konstruksi yakni Excavator. Untuk mengetahui investasi usaha penyewaan alat berat dapat dikatakan menguntungkan atau tidak maka perlu dilakukan analisis kelayakan. Dalam penelitian ini metode yang digunakan yaitu metode NPV dan IRR. Dari hasil analisis besarnya biaya yang dibutuhkan untuk investasi alat berat di PT. Tiga Putra Group adalah sebesar Rp. 1,219,604,998.19 atau Layak untuk dijalankan dan IRR sebesar 23,51% > 14,32%. Artinya investasi ini layak saat dijalankan, lebih cepat memberikan keuntungan dan lebih cepat balik modal. Kata Kunci : Analisis Kelayakan, Cash Flow, Investasi Usaha, Internal Rate of return, Net Present Value The need for materials in the construction process increases from time to time, which indirectly requires equipment to operate continuously and results in damage to the equipment. In line with the development of our country, investment has become an interest for entrepreneurs. The demand for heavy equipment to support the development process is increasing every year. The heavy equipment commonly found in construction work is an excavator. To find out whether investing in a heavy equipment rental business can be said to be profitable or not, it is necessary to carry out a feasibility analysis. In this research, the methods used are the NPV and IRR methods. From the results of the analysis of the amount of costs required to invest in heavy equipment at PT. Tiga Putra Group is IDR. 1,219,604,998.19 or feasible to run and IRR of 23.51% > 14.32%. This means that this investment is feasible when executed, provides faster profits and returns on investment more quickly.
