Abstract
Kata kunci: ATC-40, Hotel Banggai, Pushover, SAP 2000 The Indonesian region is a confluence area of the three largest tectonic plates, namely the Indo-Australian plate, the Eurasian plate and the Pacific plate. So that several large areas in Indonesia often experience earthquakes. This earthquake will have an impact on buildings close to the earthquake area. In this case study, the authors took the Banggai Hotel Building, in Banggai District, Banggai Laut Regency, Central Sulawesi as a research object in order to evaluate and find out the pattern of performance of the building structure in the event of an earthquake. The purpose of this study was to determine the capacity curve from the Banggai Hotel building's pushover analysis and to determine the performance level of the building based on ATC 40. Based on the results of the evaluation using the pushover method, for push X with a base shear force of 5656.72 kN, the structural performance results were obtained (performance point) with a shear force of 1327.032 kN, displacement displacement (Dt) of 0.00873 m, effective damping (ßeff) of 5.0% and effective time (Teff) of 0.575 seconds. The results of the analysis for the Y direction push with a base shear force of 3530.14 kN, obtained the results of the structure performance (performance point) with a shear force of 1150.269 kN, displacement displacement (Dt) 0.011 m, effective damping (ßeff) 5% and time effective (Teff) 0.661 seconds. Based on the ATC – 40 guidelines, it shows that the Banggai Hotel building is included in the Immediate Occupancy (IO) performance level, which means that if an earthquake occurs, the building can still be re-operated.
