Abstract
This researh was conducted to analyze the identity of Mowgli, the main character in the film The Jungle Book directed by John Favreu. This film tells a child who tries to get his identity. Mowgli got his identity after going through an adventure and keep trying to show his identity. The research analyzes the instrinsic aspect of the film to uncover the proces of the main character getting a confessed identity. Data is taken from the film itself, books, journals and from the internet. The steps in analyzing data are collecting data, analyzing data and disaplaying the result of the analysis. Based on the result of the analysis, there are two result found by researceher realted to the identity of the main character. Self-identity cannot be forced by going. Mowgly was finally able to et his identity. After going through a difficult experience, Mowgli got his identity and got better. Keyword: Slef-identity, Mowgly, The Jungle Book
