Abstract

ABSTRACT Indonesia is top of three nation of Southeast Asia region for rice producting.As we know rice is a crop that is a staple food for the people of Indonesia, to process rice into rice through many processes that are not easy starting from harvesting rice, sifting which can be interpreted as separating rice from leaves and stems then drying rice, after rice is partially dried rice is stored in the depths of rice and some are ground into rice for consumption. One way to help farmers in the process of drying rice is by making a rice drying machine that can dry the rice without depending on the weather, this machine is a development of conventional rice drying machines, which increases its ability to be a NodeMCU-based machine so that it is programable and equipped with components supporting components for drying rice. The machine will not run if it has not been controlled through the application, the information displayed by the application is the engine temperature and component status on the on / off engine. The machine can work if the user has set the duration of time that will be used in drying, after setting the duration the user can run the application so that the application will send values to firebase and then nodeMCU can execute according to the data sent, then the machine will automatically shut down if the specified time is up.
