Abstract
ABSTRACT The existence of information delivery media found in public places or facilities is important because there is amount of information, moral messages, and important rules that will be received by the public through the media. Unfortunately, the use of conventional media such as banners or billboards tends to be time consuming, less effective, less efficient, and wastes resources. Therefore, the author intends to create a system which can be a more effective information delivery media to solve the problem, particularly in the scope of the classes of Computer Systems Study Program, University of Technology Yogyakarta. In this study, an information system for an empty - class schedule will be designed with Android-based running text. The research was carried out with several tools such as Android Studio, Arduino, Wemos ESP8266, Dot Marix P10 (32x16) LED Panel and database design using SQLite. The design includes hardware design, Android applications, and database design. The test results show that the system can make users easier to convey empty – class schedule information effectively and efficiently.
