Abstract

The effects of the energy crisis in Indonesia are still very much felt by the people of Indonesia. Electrical energy has become a very important need for the community, along with the rapid growth of development. One of the nature potentials as a source of electrical energy is solar energy. The use of solar energy as a solar power plant is in great demand and is being developed throughout the country. This is very useful and efficient to meet electricity needs. Solar panels as fish pond lighting will serve as an alternative energy source for fish pond lighting. The working principle of this solar panel is when the sun light touch on the solar panel, then the energy obtained from the sun's light will be saved to the battery. Before entering the battery, the electricity enters into the solar charger controller first to protect the battery while carrying out the charging process from the solar module to avoid overcurrent from the charging process, which will cause damage to the battery. The battery will energize the load when the switch is on, the switch serves to break and connect the electric current. The load of this device is the smd5050 led lamp which later become a light source for fish pond lighting. Kata kunci : solar panel, solar charger controller, battery.
