A fan is a device that can make the room have cold air. How to operate the fan is very easy by turning or pressing the switch. Changes in fan rotation speed can be adjusted according to user requirements. Microcontroller IC is defined as a computer system in which there is a microprocessor, ROM, RAM, I / O and clock and packaged in the form of a chip. A program can be inserted into a microcontroller so that it can process or control things automatically and realtime. A microcontroller can be used to make the workings of a fan into automation. In this study using Arduino Uno to control the fan speed change system. The LM35 sensor functions to detect the temperature in the room. The potodiode functions to detect light. In this study the potodiode was used to detect the number of people who went in and out of the room. This automatic fan uses 2 parameters. These parameters are the number of people in the room and room temperature. The results of this study are, the system will detect the presence or absence of people in the room. If there are no people in the room, the fan will turn off even if the room temperature is high or low. If there are people in the room and the room temperature is between 25oC-30oC, the fan will rotate at medium speed, and if there are people in the room while the temperature exceeds 30oC, the fan will rotate at a fast speed.
