Abstract

The disease that attacks onion plant makes a lot of lost to farmers. Most of the diseases that attack, are Antracnose disease (Automatic Dead), Wilted Fusarium (Moler), Purple Spots (Trotol), and Rotten Leaves (Fake Flour). Moreover Indonesia has tropical climate that allows the development of bacteria and viruses to increase. One of the causes of losses to farmers is the lack of understanding in obtaining information on red onion plant diseases. These problems can be reduced by using a system that is able to provide information about diseases and their solutions. With this system, farmers can find solutions in handling shallots. With this system, it is expected that the Web Based Onion Disease Information System provides information on diseases that attack the shallot plant correctly. The aim of the study is to provide information on shallot plants such as Antraknosa disease (Automatic Dead), Wilted Fusarium (Moler), Purple Spots (Trotol), and Rotten Leaves (Fake Flour). The research method used in the form of data collection, data analysis, system flowchart, system design, and system implementation. The results of this system are a web- based onion disease information system that can provide information on diseases that attack onion plants through the web made as long as they are connected to the internet.
