Abstract
Magelang Regency has many tourism destination, such as nature tourism, temple tourism, art tourism, and religious tourism. In this case, domestic and foreign tourists are still having difficulty in finding tourism destinations. Besides the lack of information about targeted tourism destinations causes difficulty of the tourist to find tourism destinations in Magelang. The research objective is to build an Android-based tour guide application system in Magelang Regency in order to be used and implemented easily on mobile phones with Android operating system which is expected to help tourists to travel easily in Magelang. It needs an application that can help tourists find tourism destination in Magelang easily. The software development methodology used is Geolocation methodology. Meanwhile the functional testing method is based on the Black Box Testing model. Software testing that tests application functionality that is contrary to internal structure. The test design chooses valid and invalid inputs and determines the correct output. Testing on Black Box Testing tries to find errors such as incompatible or missing functions.
