Durian is a very popular fruit in Indonesia; many people like it because of its taste and aroma. Durian itself has a high economic value. Every type of durian has advantages that make its economic value different. Many people in Indonesia, especially in Kulon Progo, Yogyakarta, are cultivating durian plants. Durian plants often found in Kulon Progo are Bawor, D101, and Menoreh. Although it has been widely planted there, there are still many people who are confused to distinguish the type of durian. One of the current technological developments is digital image processing so that computers can recognize what images are seen by humans. Current technology has involved a computerized recognition system such as digital face recognition using a smartphone front camera, fingerprint recognition for smartphone locks, etc. Image processing is a branch of artificial intelligence that uses image as objects of analysis. Based on these problems artificial intelligence of image recognition using the perceptron method can be used as a solution. Applications that are developed make use of desktop-based technology as training data and android as testing data. Durian leaves are used as the object of the research. In data training obtained 83.33% of accuracy and in data testing obtained 80% of accuracy. Keywords: Durian, Artificial Intelligence, Image Processing, Perceptron
