Abstract
Batursari Village is located in the Candiroto sub-district, Temanggung regency, where information technology utilization is still minimum, especially for the Batursari village office, thus, the process of population administration services which is carried out in Batursari village is still hampered. And along with the progress of this information, Batursari Village still cannot develop with a web-based application which usually covers a large number of people. The Batursari village area which spreads and is far apart among hamlets makes the role of village offices to give service for the wider community less effective due to unavailability of public transportation facilities among hamlets. The purpose of the research is to optimize the use of information technology which has been built to process government data and the potential of Batursari village, thus, it can obtain the final results in the form of accurate and adequate information. The method used is E-government which explains the use of information and communication technology which is useful for the implementation of efficient and inexpensive government by improving community services by providing public facilities. Therefore, people get information easily and create government. The results of the research are information systems for recording population administration which can help the Batursari village government in serving birth, death, marriage certificate, and e-ID card certificate.
