Abstract
Fulfillment of healthy nutrition for pregnant women is sometimes not fulfilled properly due to lack of understanding and knowledge of pregnant women regarding the nutritional needed. There are several consequences if the healthy nutritional value needed by pregnant women is not evenly met, including premature birth, fetal death, abnormal development, congenital defects, low infant weight, and even death of pregnant women and fetuses. Therefore, the calculation is needed to get the healthy nutritional value of pregnant women according to their needs. The Harris Benedict method is a method used to determine the caloric value of pregnant women based on height, weight, age of pregnant women, womb age, activity, and maternal values of pregnant women used as nutritional intake of pregnant women according to the levels of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats needed by pregnant women. Based on calculations obtained from the Harris Benedict method, it can be used to provide information on healthy nutritional value in pregnant women and become an alternative or media reference for pregnant women.
