Abstract
Poverty is one of the fundamental problems which makes it the focus of any country. In this case, the government is responsible for the development of human resources which aims at community welfare and alleviating poverty. Many programs in poverty reduction efforts have been carried out by the government, however assistance reaching the community is less than expected. These problems arise due to the distribution of Raskin (Rice for Poor People) to the poor which is not optimal, consequently, the government in providing poverty assistance is still not in accordance with the existing reality. The purpose of this study is to create a system for the feasibility of recommending Raskin recipients, thus, it can become a tool for the Tegalyoso Village Office in determining the appropriate or not categories according to the conditions used. The object of research is the application of the Naive Bayes method to classify Raskin recipients. This research uses the waterfall model. Whereas the programming language used is J2SE (Java 2 Standard Edition) and the MySql database. The results of this study in the form of the implementation of the Naive Bayes method for determining the distribution of Raskin are included in the category of feasibility or not in Tegalyoso Village which has gone through The Black Box testing. Keywords: Raskin, Naive Bayes, J2SE, MySql.
