Abstract
The growth of madrasah (Islamic School) in Indonesia is considered not to show progress in the realm of technology utilization. The author assumes that madrasah has not utilized the existing technology yet in the school environment, both from the employee side, as well as students. Moreover, there are some problems in the madrasah environment. One of the problems is managing the information center. Besides, gadget users to access the information needed also increase significantly. In this problem, the author figures out the right solution to be able to answer the questions and overcome problems which are carried out by the questioner and provider of information directly and along with technological assistance which can be implemented in the school environment. The most appropriate technology implemented into the question and answer problem is the implementation of technology from Chatter Bot or Question Answering. Chatter Bot is a computer program which can interact with users (humans) using natural language. In the stages of learning computers to be able to understand sentences from users, computers have different learning techniques to be able to understand the sentences which is put by the user and it depends on the level of programming complexity which the writer builds. For computers, to understand users’ sentences, there are several techniques which can be used from the Natural Language Processing (NLP) approach. The basic technique used to understand computers is mostly by using the implementation of tokenize, stopword, stemming, correction and analyzing.
